Rules, Regulations & Official Guidelines
All registered participants must strictly comply with the competition governance framework established by Bahrain Prathibha.
RULES & TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Song Selection & Musical Genres: Songs performed throughout the competition should primarily be in Malayalam. However, songs in other languages are also permitted in designated rounds, as instructed by the organizing committee. Participants are expected to prepare and perform songs from at least three different musical genres, such as Melody, Fast/Upbeat, and Semi-Classical.
2. Age Eligibility: Participants must be at least 16 years old as of 5 December 2026 (born on or before 5 December 2010).
3. Accurate Information: Participants must provide accurate personal information in the registration form. Any misrepresentation may result in disqualification.
4. Document Verification: The organizers reserve the right to verify proof of age, valid Bahrain CPR, and identity at any stage of the competition.
5. Selection Process: Registration does not guarantee selection. Participants will be shortlisted for the competition rounds based on the initial audition.
6. Attendance & Discipline: Participants must strictly follow all audition, rehearsal, competition, and reporting schedules communicated by the organizing committee and maintain appropriate decorum throughout the event.
7. Competition Guidelines: All participants must comply with the competition format, dress code, performance instructions, and other guidelines specified by the organizing committee for each round.
8. Judging & Evaluation: Progression to subsequent rounds will be based on the published evaluation criteria and the judges' assessment. The judges' decisions shall be final and binding, subject to the published competition rules and review procedures.
9. Changes & Organizer's Rights: The organizers reserve the right to make necessary changes to the competition schedule, venue, format, or arrangements. All participants must comply with reasonable instructions issued by the organizing committee.
10. Privacy & Media Consent: Personal information collected during registration will be used exclusively for competition administration and verification, in accordance with the privacy notice. Photography, video recording, telecast, and promotional use of participants' performances and images will be subject to the required participant/parent or guardian acknowledgement and consent.

Bahrain Prathibha is committed to protecting participant privacy. Personal details including CPR numbers and contact information are collected solely for participant identification, age verification, and official competition communication. Sensitive information such as CPR numbers are strictly restricted to authorized administrators and are never displayed publicly.
